Answer: Neha used he greater ratio

Step-by-step explanation:

This is how I did it and how my classmates got this answer:

First you have to turn Neha and Daniels bananas and oranges into ratios (4:5, 7:9). You can do this part using a chart. This is how we did it:

4-4,8,12,16,20,24,28,32,36

5-5,10,15,20,25,30,35,40,45

4 x 9 and 5 x 9 get you 36/45=36:45

7-7,14,21,28,35

9-9,18,27,36,45

=35/45

Now that they both have the same denominator you compare: 36:45 (?) 35:45

36:45 > 35:45

Neha has the greater ratio. :)

Sally has to pay a deposit to rent a kayak of $50.00, then she is charged $7.00 per hour
solmaris [256]

Answer:

$92

Step-by-step explanation:

Since Sally plans to keep the kayak for 6 hours and it's $7 per hour we can multiply 6*7 to determine how much she will be charged for keeping the kayak.

6*7=$42

Now we add this to the original deposit of $50.

$50+$42=$92
