A) The question references Lord of the Flies by Wiliam Golding.

What was the pretend play about?

Ralph and Robert in a "Pretend Play" pretended to fight each other using the end of a spear.

B) William Golding uses this Pretend Play to highlight the sublime desires of the boys.

C) The scene in a way reveals the future conflict and power struggle that Ralph was to experience. Unfortunately, though he sees himself as a strategist or chess player, he never really became adept at it.

lutik1710 [3]

Answer:

I don't really understand the question youre asking but remember this:

Explanation:

A rethorical question is always a question that you ask but you don't want an answer, because the question you're asking should be a question that the other person should know the answer using common sense.

Hope this helps! Have a nice day.
