In my opinion, I think it depends on the circumstances. In the end, if I had to choose, I think having to wear them would be ideal. This is because there are many kids who used to get bullied because they didn't wear "cool clothes" or "cool shoes". If there were school uniforms, a lot less kids would be getting bullied. Another thing not many people think about, if there was a school lockdown, and they were trying to maybe find someone that was harmful, there isn't a high chance they are going to be wearing a kid's school uniform, so it would be easier to find them in a way. Lastly, people always argue that kids should be able to express themselves through their clothing. First of all, kids don't usually express themselves through clothes, they are usually just trying to fit in with the cliques. Second, there are many other ways to express yourself, than just by your clothing.
