Ariel has a plastic Ice cream cone in her food play set. The ice cream cone is a half sphere sitting on top of the cone. What is
nlexa [21]

Answer:

753.6 cm^{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : The ice cream cone is a half sphere(hemisphere) sitting on top of the cone.

To Find : volume of the toy Ice cream cone.

Solution :

Refer the figure

We can see that radius of cone = radius of half sphere(hemisphere) = 6cm

Height of cone = 8 cm

Volume of the toy Ice cream cone = VOLUME OF CONE + VOLUME OF HEMISPHERE .

First calculate the volume of cone .

Formula of volume of cone :  \frac{1}{3} \pi r^{2} h

Where r = radius of cone and h = height of cone and    \pi = 3.14

So, the volume of ice cream cone :

⇒\frac{1}{3} \pi r^{2} h

⇒\frac{1}{3} *3.14*(6)^{2} *8

⇒\frac{1}{3} *3.14*36*8

⇒\frac{904.32}{3}

⇒301.44

Thus the volume of cone is   301.44 cm^{3}

Now formula of volume of sphere :

\frac{2}{3} \pi r^{3}

r = radius = 6 cm

\frac{2}{3} *3.14*(6)^{3}

\frac{2}{3} *3.14*216

\frac{1356.48}{3}

452.16

Thus the volume of the hemisphere is     452.16cm^{3}

Now , Since we know that

Volume of the toy Ice cream cone = VOLUME OF CONE + VOLUME OF HEMISPHERE .

⇒ 301.44 +452.16

⇒  753.6 cm^{3}

Hence, The volume of the toy Ice cream cone is    753.6 cm^{3}

. Solve for x,<br> (4x + 21)<br> (13x - 15)°<br> Plsss
UNO [17]

Answer:

4

Step-by-step explanation:

use midpoint theorem that also said that the lines are parallel so those angles are same side corresponding angles that are congruent

4x +21 = 13x -15

4x -13x = -15 -21; subtract 13x and 21 from both sides

-9x = -36; divide by -9

x= 4
