I believe it is because you often have to do tests such as blood and stool tests to find them, and things like heartworm have to be in the right cycle and must have females present(other wise be in the right circumstances )

In some parasites a diagnosis is made by observation of the mature parasites,so during an autopsy in your pets intestines. This is especially true for Tapeworms. Tapeworm eggs are difficult to detect during microscopic fecal analysis, so observation of the actual worm is how they are routinely diagnosed.other parasites found in the blood are also hard to detect

What is hemoglobin? (Do not copy word for word from internet please). I need a very detailed description.
goblinko [34]

Hello!

Hemoglobin is the protein which carries oxygen by binding to it. Hemoglobin is found in red blood cells. This protein is extremely important as it allows respiration to be carried out, and transports oxygen to the rest of our bodies.

Oxygen diffuses from the alveoli (in our lungs) through capillaries into the blood. From there, the hemoglobin in the blood will take the oxygen, and bring it to the other parts of the body which need it. This also allows continued diffusion into the capillaries.

Hope this helps!
