In this case the characteristics can be:
Adaptability: That adapts easily; particularity of what can be adapted or can be adapted.
persistence: The persistent person tries in different ways until he finds the one that solves his problem.
hard work: That requires effort, hard and difficult work, requires a lot (time, or reflection or physical strength).
