Which event between 1789 and 1795 was a turning point in the French Revolution?
Lapatulllka [165]
The storming of the Bastille was a major turning point of the war. It turned the attention away from the battles of third estate and the crown directly to the people. With the bourgeoisie invading and causing direct damage to the Bastille, they started and unfortunately broadcast major conflicts that were to come as the Revolution would eventually turn into a Civil War and then a fight for nationhood as it progressed into the Napoleonic phase of the Revolution.

Which group of native arkansas used northwestern arkansas as its traditional hunting grounds?
wlad13 [49]

The correct answer is - Osage.

The Osage tribe is a Native American tribe that has had a territory in what is now Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Kansas. The tribe has its roots as back as 900 BC, and it is closely related with the tribes like the Quapaw, Caddo, Wichita. They have had a turbulent history, with ups and downs, occasionally losing or abandoning territory because of wars with other tribes, or moving into new territories when they were the stronger side. They faced a big problem with the Iroquois that were moving in from the northeast around a couple of centuries ago, but managed to hold their ground, and actually became the strongest and most dominant tribe in the area.

Identify the four reasons why the Navigation Acts were not initially enforced by England.
Westkost [7]

I believe the answer is:

- England was at war with France and wanted the loyalty of the colonies

- American merchants were competing with English merchants

- A struggle was going on between the king of England and parliament

- great distance separated England and the colonies

Because of these reasons, navigation act was created in 1651 in order to prevent the colony form trading with other european nations. By doing this, England could keep the profit from the hands of their european competitors Which defintiely help them in their war against france and help the king maintain their position in their country.
