Answer:

Challenges

Improving governance in Tanzania is constrained by an increasingly powerful executive branch, closing civic space, violations of human rights, lack of political competition, a still-emerging civil society, limited government capacity, low public accountability, and barriers to accessing information. Women and youth are particularly disadvantaged in these areas. Challenges include:

1,Low quality of public services including health, education, and water, in addition to a lack of institutional capacity.

2.Limited government accountability and a lack of public demand for improvement.

3.Widespread corruption and public sector inefficiencies.

4.Diminished checks and balances resulting from an imbalance of power between branches of government, with civil servants and elected officials tied to central government patronage rather than citizen constituents.

Explanation:Democracy has more adverse effects in a developing country as in India. When majority of people are educated and well aware of the situations of the country they are residing in, then democracy can surely give a big hand in its development, but it is heart rendering to see that every time during elections the majority of uneducated and illiterate Indians win us a leader, who is fit for nothing while the other group just sits and watches its loss and the damage the country is going to face.

Reservations basing on Caste, Creed, and gender are causing a rift among the younger generations and such a rift in turn is leading to brain drain. This reservation system is still kept intact by the politicians only for the sake of their personal benefit that is to save the vote bank.

A country that paves a proper path for every individual can keep its citizens happy and content. And that happiness in turn leads to a better life and a better availability of opportunities.

Democracy that is in the hands of unintelligent people is failing the country as a whole and that is leading to much more adverse life style.

As an Indian I personally want to see my country grow in every field, as we Indians have a better IQ than many other individuals of other

Write a 3 paragraph essay about Ancient Greece (for middle schoolers)
Reil [10]

Answer:

Ancient Greece was a civilization that dominated much of the Mediterranean thousands of years ago. At its peak under Alexander the Great, Ancient Greece ruled much of Europe and Western Asia. The Greeks came before the Romans and much of the Roman culture was influenced by the Greeks.

Ancient Greece formed the foundation of much of Western culture today. Everything from government, philosophy, science, mathematics, art, literature, and even sports was impacted by the Ancient Greeks.

Ancient Greeks worshipped lots of different gods. They believed many gods appeared in human form and were provided with superhuman strength. The Greeks usually worshipped in sanctuaries located within the city or the country.

Athens and Sparta

 • Athens and Sparta were the two main city states that ruled much of ancient Greece. They were often rivals and fought each other in the Peloponnesian Wars. At other times they united together in order to protect the Greek lands from invaders. The cultures of the two cities were very different. Sparta was almost entirely focused on war and how to fight, while Athens focused on the arts and learning.
