Answer:

It is known that Hindu ascetics occasionally visited Greece. Furthermore, Greece and India conducted not only trade but also cultural, educational, and philosophical exchanges. The most striking similarity between Greek and Indian thought is the resemblance between the system of mystical gnosis (esoteric knowledge) described in the Enneads of the Neoplatonic philosopher Plotinus (205–270) and that of the Yoga-sutra attributed to Patanjali, an Indian religious teacher sometimes dated in the 2nd century CE. The Patanjali text is the older, and influence is probable, though the problem of mediation remains difficult because Plotinus gives no direct evidence of having known anything about Indian mysticism. Several Greek and Latin writers (an example of the former being Clement of Alexandria) show considerable knowledge of the externals of Indian religions, but none gives any intimation of understanding their more recondite aspects.

While Jesus performing his Public ministry did he face some oppositions? If yes why? And if no why?
Sedaia [141]

Answer:

See explanation

Explanation:

During His public ministry, Jesus faced diverse oppositions from the pharisees, Sadducees and the scribes.

These group of people believed that Jesus was rocking the very foundations of Judaism and they sought to trap Him in His words. Many times, they sent people to ask him questions to know if he would say things that contradicted the Mosaic law so that he could be accused of blasphemy.

Also, they were not happy that Jesus addressed Himself by the title "Son of Man" and regarded Himself as the Messiah. They even said that the miracles He performed and the demons that He cast out were done by Beelzebub, the prince of demons.

This opposition eventually resulted in Jesus' death on the cross under the Roman governor, Pontius Pilate.

What principle of learning is Mayra demonstrating when she tells her daughter that she does not have to do the dishes for a week
Mkey [24]

Answer:Negative reinforcement

Explanation:

Negative reinforcement is based on operant conditioning theory. In negative reinforcement a positive behavior is enhanced by taking away a negative outcome or eliminating an aversive stimulus.

Aversive stimuli is everything that brings someone physcally or psychologically discomfort.

Negative reinforcement then means someone is able to avoid aversive stimuli prior to its occurrence. It is like taking prevention rather cure so you eliminate what ever can bring you a negative outcome before the negative outcome occurs.
