You and your friends are part of a disaster preparedness group in your community. You want to make sure that families in your co
mmunity are prepared for natural disasters. This means that your city, town, or neighborhood should have a comprehensive emergency preparedness plan that families can use when preparing their own plans. This plan may be part of a region-wide plan. The same goes for your school. The school should have its own plan that families can study. Your goal is to make sure your community and school provide the best information to families for preparing for a natural disaster. Describe your community's disaster preparedness plan.
. Describe your school's disaster preparedness plan.
Make sure you have a health-kit just in case someone is terribly injured or yourself. If it's a flood or tsunami you should seek high-shelter. If it's a tornado try to get everybody in the hallways or if there's a low part in the school try to get underground. If it's a fire I'd try to find the fire-alert so everyone knows there is a fire. I'd try to get everybody outside before I help myself. If there's a blizzard the best thing to do is to get underground or if you're in a school try to find a place with no windows and try to get everybody you can in that place and first start with the kindergartners.
