It ensures that when the workers have given their effort and energy to any organization and the society, he does not become a liability to his family, his employer and to the society. Social security measures ensure that the workers are provided protection and security in their life time.
For example, Social Security pays benefits to disabled workers who meet medical and insured requirements. Benefits paid to disabled workers and their families may be reduced for receipt of certain public disability benefits (such as Workers' Compensation).
Social security functions as a social security device (social safety net) for ensuring stable and anxiety-free lives in preparation against difficulties that might endanger the stability of living such as illness, injury, need for care, unemployment, retirement without means to earn money, and unforeseen accidents.

Explain how poor physical health may affect your social health.<br> i need help asap thanks.
yulyashka [42]
Well I have personal experience with this. I had chronic pain for a long time and I couldn't go anywhere. I couldn't go to see my friends or to go outside and enjoy anything because I was in constant pain. Eventually, I had depression due to lack of joy in my life and lack of going outside. If you are stuck with physical pain and it causes you to be non-mobile, then you are going to have mental and social issues. Hope this helps :)
