A population of fish lived in a large lake. During a storm, a huge landslide occurred, bringing a large amount of land into the

lake and splitting the lake into two bodies of water. Over many years, the fish population in each body of water evolved. The two fish populations can no longer breed together.
Is the speciation above an example of allopatric speciation or sympatric speciation? Explain how you know by referring to the definition of each.

Explanation: Because in allopatric speciation, groups from an ancestral population evolve into separate species due to a period of geographical separation.

I searched it up and both don't fit this 100% so I am kinda just making a guss because the first part on this sounds right but the 2nd part doesent and on the other one the first part sound wrong but the 2nd part sounds correct.
