Just this afternoon I noticed a few small red bumps on my upper thigh(back), they don’t itch, but they do hurt when I press down

on them. One of them is a lot more red than the others and hurts more when pressed, they showed up pretty quick as I only felt them an hour or two after I got home. Is there any reasonable explanation? (If it helps, my cat has fleas but NO bed bugs)

Answer:

You may have had an allergic reaction. Keratosis Pilaris is also a skin condition that can cause red bumps on the skin, but they usually just itch, and they don't hurt. If you have been under a lot of stress, it may be a stress rash, or maybe even a heat rash, but usually they just itch, although stress rashes usually occur in the form of hives, which can burn/tingle. If you notice anything very serious, or if the problem continues for an extended period of time/doesn't go away, you may want to contact your doctor or schedule an appointment with a dermatologist to make sure it isn't anything serious.

Answer:

It is possible that a bug could have bitten you. I have had that case once. It could also just be a couple of minor bruises you had, maybe doing an activity. I really think that since they developed in 2 hours, according to you, it could have been the clothing material you are wearing.

I hope this helps!
