The five ways in which the government affects our daily life are:

Building roads and schools.

Reduction and fixing of prices of essential commodities.

Supply of electricity.

Preparation and implementation of several programs to help the poor.

Running of postal and railway services.

How does the government help us?

Governments provide the parameters for everyday behavior for citizens, protect them from outside interference, and often provide for their well-being and happiness. In the last few centuries, some economists and thinkers have advocated government control over some aspects of the economy.

What are 3 things the government does for us?

Only the federal government can regulate interstate and foreign commerce, declare war, and set taxing, spending, and other national policies. These actions often start with legislation from Congress, made up of the 435-member House of Representatives and the 100-member U.S. Senate.
