when you add all the numbers together you get 14, also where you put the line you can see that the line is a 3 and 5 minus 2 is 3. The next corner next to the 3 is 1 cm because if you look at the horizontal 2 it matches up with the horizontal 1 and 2 minus 1 is 1.
