"X is partly constant and partly varies as y"

---> x = ky + p

when y=2,x=30 ---> 30 = 2k + p

when y=6,x=50 ---> 50 = 6k + p

subtract: 20 = 4k

k = 5

sub back in the first: 30 = 10+p

p = 20

x = 5y + 20

now you can answer B

notice this is just a variation of y = mx + b

Answer:a is 52    b is 65

Step-by-step explanation:

a:Write 65% as 65100.

65100 of 80 = 65100 × 80.

Therefore, the answer is 52. If you are using a calculator, simply enter 65÷100×80 which will give you 52 as the answer.

b: it is 65 because it is the same question but in reverse which still gives you the same answer.

Hope this helps

What are the restrictions of the domain of the function F(x) = 1/x^2-9
Sonbull [250]
f(x)=\frac{1}{x^2-9}

The denominator can't be equal to 0.
x^2-9 \not= 0 \\
x^2 \not= 9 \\
x \not= -3 \ \land \ x \not= 3

The domain is all numbers except -3 and 3.
x \in \mathbb{R} - \{-3, 3 \}
