1. 3n^3+3n^2+5n+5
(3n^3+2n^2)+(5n+5)
3n^2(n+1)+5(n+1)
(n+1)(3n^2+5)
n+1=0 and 3n^2+5=0
so n=-1, sqrt(5/3)
2.2x^2+2x-4
2(x^2+x+2)
2(x-1)(x+2)
2(x-1)=0 and x+2=0
x=1 and x=-2
