If you were a:
sattari [20]

Answer:

I am a student so I would belive school uniform is the worst. It's like a prision uniform( ugly and uncomfortable ) also it ruins the idea of spirit and pride.

if I were a parent I would probably think it's a great idea because now a days people wear really short clothes expecially girls.so the uniforms provide a sence of hiding those parts as well as providing equality.

if I were a principal I would love the idea. that means less write ups on dress code violations which equals less paperwork for me and it would also make the school look better and more proper

In your journal or using your computer, list all of the reasons Pushmataha believes war
DerKrebs [107]

Few Choctaws from the early 1800s are better known than Pushmataha. He negotiated several well-publicized treaties with the United States, led Choctaws in support of the Americans during the War of 1812, is mentioned in nearly all histories of the Choctaws, was famously painted by Charles Bird King in 1824, is buried in the Congressional Cemetery in Washington, D.C., and, in April 2001, a new Pushmataha portrait was unveiled to hang in the Hall of Fame of the State of Mississippi in the Old Capitol Museum in Jackson, Mississippi. Early twentieth-century ethnologist John Swanton referred to Pushmataha as the “greatest of all Choctaw chiefs.”1

Despite his seeming familiarity, Pushmataha's life is not as well documented nor as well known as a careful biographer would like. What is known suggests that Pushmataha was an exceptional man and charismatic leader. He had deep roots in the ancient Choctaw world, a world characterized by spiritual power and traditional notions of culture. In addition, Pushmataha effectively confronted a rapidly changing era caused by the ever-expanding European and American presence.

Explore the role rhetoric plays in James Green's "Equal Pay
Tju [1.3M]

Answer:

Green’s argument uses effective rhetoric by using these components of rhetoric to create an argument that appeals to the audience.

Green establishes ethos by stating that the Equal pay bill is being considered by the Utah legislature. This infers that he has information on the legislature, and/or could be a part of it, firming his credibility.

Then, Green uses logos by showing you how the turn of events will happen if the Equal pay bill is accepted and enforced: “if businesses are forced to pay women the same as male earnings, that means they will have to reduce the pay for the men they employ". "If that happens, then men will have an even more difficult time earning enough to support their families”.

Finally, Green wraps it up by using pathos: “We should encourage our legislators to drop the whole notion. Let the marketplace determine what free-market forces should prevail. It is not the role of the government to dictate to businesses what they should pay anyway, either as a Minimum Wage or Equal pay for men and women.
