sweet-ann [11.9K]

The answer is 22 because 22 multiplied by 2 is 44 and that divided by 11 is 4 and 4 added to 6 is ten. Hope this is helpful.

I have no idea how to do anyone can help?

Hello,

Meredith has k toys and Gazali too

Meridith gives 20/100 * k
Gazali gives 85/100*k
So they gives 105/100 * k toys which is 126

105/100 *k=126
k=126*100 /105
They have left alltogether  80/100 * k + 15/100 *k= 95/100 *k

95/100*k=95/100* 126*100/105=114 (toys left).

Ksju [112]

For this case, the first thing we must do is define a variable.

We have then:

t: number of years

P (t): number of people since 2010

We know that:

1) There were 30,700 people in the city

2) The population is growing at a rate of 850 people per year.

The equation modeling the problem is given by:

P (t) = 850t + 30700

Answer:

a formula for the city's population is:

P (t) = 850t + 30700
