Answer:

40

Step-by-step explanation:

To find how much gasoline is needed for 480 kilometers, we will need to find how much is needed per kilometers:

13 liters is used for 156 kilometers

156/13 = 12 so 1 liter gasoline is spent per 12 kilometers

So for 480 kilometers we would need 40 liter gasoline because

480/12 = 40

yan [13]

Answer:

-3, -4, -4, 0, 16, 64, 192.

Step-by-step explanation:

I don't know for sure if this is correct, but when i did it theses are the answers i got. You do y=8*2^x. Meaning you substitute the x for the x values such as -3, -2, and -1.

Also if you have one there's a setting you can go to on an actual calculator and type in this on a Y/X chart. I didn't use one this time because i don't have one, but thought you'd find that information useful.

8. There are 3 people who work full-time and are to work together on a project, but their total time on the project is to be equ
Mama L [17]

Answer:

1/6 of the third workers time

Step-by-step explanation:

one of the people is budgeted for 1 /2 of his time to the project and a second person for 1/3 of her time

Let x be the third workers time

Let the completed job time = 1

Time taken for 3 workers to complete the job = 1

\frac{1}{2}+ \frac{1}{3} + x= 1

now we solve for x

LCD = 2*3 = 6

We multiply the whole equation by 6

\frac{1}{2}*6+ \frac{1}{3}*6 + x*6= *6

3 + 2 +6x = 6

5 + 6x = 6

subtract 5 on both sides

6x = 1

divide both sides by 6

x= \frac{1}{6}

Diego bought some raisins and walnuts to make trail mix.
Lilit [14]

Answer: You could only buy 1 pound of raisins and 1 pound of walnuts

Step-by-step explanation:

$8=1 pound of walnuts

$15-$8=$7

$4=1 pound of raisins

$7-$4=$3

$3 is not enough to buy a pound of raisins since it’s one dollar off but it is also not enough to buy a pound of walnuts because it’s off by $5
