Suppose one bus travels at x km/h, the second bus is 17 km/h slower so it is x-17
the first bus travels a total of 7x km, the second bus travels 7(x-17)km, together they travel the total distance of 1631 km
7x + 7(x-17) =1631
7x + 7x -119 =1631
14x=1750

x=125
x-17=108

Emma buys and sells truck parts she bought two tires for $35 eachand later sold them for $65 each she bought three rims for $75
alexdok [17]

Answer:2X35=70 2X65=130 130-70=60   So 60 dollars profit for the two tires.

3X75=225 3X136=408 408-225=183  So 183 dollars profit for the three rims

5X4=20 5X15=75 75-20=55  So 55 dollars profit for the headlights.

Total profit  60+183+55=298

A quadrilateral has two angles that measure 222° and 81°. The other two angles are in a ratio of 6:13. What are the measures of
hram777 [196]

\sf\huge\underline{\star Solution:-}

\rightarrow <u>Ratio of two angles are 6:13.</u>

So, let the one angle be \sf{6x} and another be \sf{13x.}

As we know that,

Sum of all interior angles of a quadrilateral = \sf\pink{360°.}

So let's sum up the given angles,

\rightarrow \sf{222°+81°+6x+13x \:=\:  360°}

\rightarrow \sf{303+19x \:=\:  360°}

\rightarrow \sf{19x \:=\:  360-303}

\rightarrow \sf{19x \:=\:  57}

\rightarrow \sf{x \:=\:  \frac{19}{57}}

\rightarrow \sf{x \:=\:  3}

Hence, \sf{x \:=\:  3}

So, First angle \sf{= \:6x\: = \:6×3 \:=} \sf\purple{18°.}

Second angle \sf{= \:13x\: = \:13×3 \:=} \sf\purple{39°.}
