Answer:

Transaction 2: 70.00
Transaction 3: -5.00
Transaction 4: 32.50

Explanation:
For transaction 2, we can use the equation 250 + x = 320 to find the answer
x = 70

For transaction 3, we can use the equation 350 - 325 = y to find the answer
y = -5

For transaction 4, we can use the equation -5 + 37.5 = z to find the answer
z = 32.5

Final answer is as follows:
Transaction 2: 70.00
Transaction 3: -5.00
Transaction 4: 32.50

Which situations are BEST modeled by a linear function? es A) A monthly gym membership fee. B) The cost of milk by the gallon. 0
salantis [7]

Answer:

B) The cost of milk by the gallon.

C) The price of pears by the pound.

Step-by-step explanation:

A linear function is one that both the dependent and independent variables increases or decreases proportionally.

Thus from the given options:

i. If the gallons of milk increase, then the cost of milk also would increase proportionally. A decrease in the gallons of milk would also reduce the cost of milk.

ii. An increase in the pounds of the pearls would cause an increase in the price of the pearls. Also, a decrease in the pounds of pearls would reduce the price of the pearls.

Thus, the answers to the question are options B and C.

blondinia [14]

A keypad at the entrance of a building has 10 buttons labeled 0 through 9. What is the probability of a person correctly guessing a 9-digit entry code if they know that no digits repeat?

Answer:

the probability of a person correctly guessing a 9-digit entry code if they know that no digits repeat is 0.1

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that probability= number of required outcomes /number of all possible outcome.

From the given information;

the number of required outcome is guessing a 9-digit = 1  outcome

the number of all possible outcome = ¹⁰C₉ since there are 10 numbers and 9 number are to be selected.

Since there are only 9-digit that opens the lock;

the probability of a person correctly guessing a 9-digit entry code is

P =\dfrac{1}{^{10}C_9}

P =\dfrac{1}{\dfrac{10!}{9!1!}}

P =\dfrac{1}{10}

P = 0.1

I dont know how to do this
Kipish [7]
So what you're going to do is just multiply how you were normal to play multiply the numerator times the other numerator then multiply the denominator's and that should get you your answer and then you can try and simplify it by finding if it can be divided equally then see if it is bigger or smaller
