Number of times a president can serve?

History
2 answers:
Nutka1998 [239]3 years ago
6 0

Answer:

The number of times a president can serve is 8 years, or 2 terms as 1 term is 4 years. This is because the first president, George Washington refused to serve his 3rd term as president and has been like this since Washington did it. It is traditional and is also respecting the first president's wish to not serve for so long, and is also an act of unselfishness.
