In the novel nothing but the truth what kind of teacher was mr. Lunser

dexar [7]

Answer:

homeroom

Explanation:

In Avi's novel "Nothing But The Truth" we meet Mr. Lunser in Phillip Mallory's school. Mr. Lunser is Phillip's homeroom teacher for a time. He is a easy-going guy who is not very disciplined with his class. He tries to be humorous (he calls his students Bozos) and he is always cracking jokes with the class. During the opening of the novel morning announcements are being made, and Dr. Doane tells the students that on "this day Julius Caesar was assassinated. Mr. Lunser replies, " And right after that they all sat down and ate a Caesar salad." Phillp ends up having to transfer to Margaret Narwin's homeroom and she is extremely disciplined and very strict. This does not work out well for Phillip.

■ Write a paragraph or eassy on your dream.
:)

jenyasd209 [6]
For my career plan, I was thinking to become a chef in the future. This means that I’ll be working in Hotels or a restaurant. I chose this career because I’m passionate about cooking, and it makes me happy. Throughout the years, my dream careers changed.

First, I wanted to become a wrestler, then an artist. I decided to not become those things, because I’m not interested in them anymore. For me to become a chef, I need to achieve an Associate’s Degree or a Bachelors Degree in college.

For extra activities, my mother is trying to sign me up for Cooking classes. I think that will be a fun experience, because I can test my creativity to make new dishes that no one has seen before. I do have concerns about becoming a chef though. One of them is having long shifts. I don’t like this trait because if I have a family in the future, I won’t be able to see them or spend time with them as much.

Denotative definitions are also known as what dedinitions?
stellarik [79]
The denotative definition of a word is its literal meaning. This would be the meaning one would find in the dictionary.

By contrast, the connotative definition is the meaning associated with the word. It is the implied meaning of the word.

For example, the words in bold have the same denotation but different connotations:
-- a beautiful woman
-- a handsome woman
-- a pretty woman

While all these words mean the same thing, they do not have the same associations.

Consider the main characters from the stolen day and the night the bed fell in a paragraph discuss which character learns the mo
BartSMP [9]
I think the one that learn the least is : The narrator's aunt. She kept making unreasonable accusation throughout the story. One of it was that she believed that the burglar has been coming to her house every night for the last 40 years. i might say that the one that learn the most would be the narrator himself.

Hope this helps
