Because of global warming, other fire protection methods must be employed in the community to protect from fires.

What is fire protection?

Fire protection refers to ways or methods employed to prevent or to protect the community and individuals in the community from fires.

Fires are caused when sparks of light inmgnite a combustible material.

Due to rise in global temperatures, the incidence of fire outbreaks have increased.

Construction of buildings alone will not protect from fires.

Other ways to protect from fires include:

 • reduction of fossil fuel burning
 • reduction of water wastage
 • planting of trees
 • educating the community on how to protect from fires

Therefore, other fire protection methods must be employed in the community to protect from fires.

Red blood cells appear to swell after being exposed to hypertonic plasma solutions.
nekit [7.7K]

Answer:

Yes, the red blood cell swells

Explanation:

The red blood cells placed in a hypotonic solution will take in water across their membranes.

A red blood cell will swell and undergo hemolysis (burst) when placed in a hypotonic solution.

The red blood cell that is hypotonic (lower concentration outside the cell) will result in more water flowing into the cell than out. This results in swelling of the cell.
