Answer:

g(g(x)) =  {x}^{4}  + 14 {x}^{2} + 56

h(h(x)) = x

Step-by-step explanation:

g(x) =  {x}^{2}  + 7

g(g(x)) =  {( {x}^{2}  + 7)}^{2} + 7

g(g(x)) =   {x}^{4}  + 14  {x}^{2}  + 49 + 7 =  {x}^{4}  + 14 {x}^{2} + 56

h(x) =  \frac{5}{9x}

h(h(x)) = h( \frac{5}{9x} )

h(h(x)) =  \frac{5}{9( \frac{5}{9x} )}  =  \frac{5}{ \frac{5}{x} }  = 5( \frac{x}{5}) = x

Right off the bat (haha), we can eliminate B as an answer choice because adults are clearly part of the population; in fact, it says in the background information that their entire population is made of adults.  A population, in this context, is the group being researched.

D isn't the correct answer; the fact that adults are the target population doesn't validify anything.

C doesn't entirely prove its point because there are other factors that go into the game being biased.  In fact, I would say that this study <em>is </em>biased because the board members only attended 1 game when there are 18 teams.  Their data will only pertain to fans of the 2 teams playing each other, and not represent the population as a whole.

A would be my answer for reasons stated above.

Fittoniya [83]

Each week, there are 24+12x more new instances recorded than there was the previous week which is increasing exponentially.

There were 24 cases of flu reported in a city's hospital on January 4.

In the next 5 weeks, the number of new cases reported each week had grown exponentially.

Let "A" represent the number of flu cases at time "t." Any population "A" grows exponentially over time at a rate of "t." The beginning population directly affects the rate of population change.

dA/dt = k( T - 24 )

T- 24 = c × e^{kt}     [Differentiate with 't']

T = 24 + c × e^{kt}

After 1 week T = 36 and t = 1

36 - 24 = c × 1

c = 12

T = 24 + 12x.

Therefore, 24 + 12x new instances have been reported each week, increasing exponentially.

Determine the value of cos 79º 15' (cosine of 79 degrees, and 15 minutes). In this case, minutes are 1/60 of a degree.
yKpoI14uk [10]

Answer:

A. 0.186524036

Step-by-step explanation:

Cosine 79° 15'

But, 1° = 60'

Thus; 15' = 15/60 = 0.25°

Therefore;

cos 79° 15' = cos 79.25°

Cos 79.25° = 0.186524036

                  = 0.186524036
