Read the poem “The Purple Cow,” by Gelett Burgess. The Purple Cow (Reflections on a Mythic Beast Who's Quite Remarkable, at Leas
astraxan [27]
Well, I think, the main point that makes the difference between "Mending Wall" and   “The Purple Cow”  is actually demonstrated by the rhyme. Just read each poem one more time and feel that one of them is readed easily, words matched with each other like a song's lyrics so that you can smoothly go on reading whereas  "Mending Wall" is made with structure of blank verse that emphasises every line and makes reader feel it deeply.

What does it mean when the article says "The native<br> way was scorned and discouraged."?
Basile [38]

Explanation:

It means that the native way has experienced discourage from others and no respect. It means that people from the same culture were rejected or we can also say ignored in this case.

Scorned is the word that means ignored. The person who is scorn means that he does not have respect for others and for what they are thinking, it means also that the person is disliking something and does not approve of it.

In this case it would mean that people from the same culture and nation have experienced rejection.

As a boy, what did the narrator practice o the “parlor organ” in the Nebraska Farmhouse?
Andrew [12]
In the text it says, "She taught me my scales and exercises, too, on the little parlor organ", "I struggled with the 'Harmonious Blacksmith'", and "<span>I had been doggedly beating out some easy passages from an old score of 'Euryanthe'". The boy mostly practiced scales and exercises, but he also played "Harmonius Blacksmith" and "Euryanthe".</span>
