Let me tell you, in 1775 when the British were controlling Boston, the colonists HATED the king--for that and the Intolerable Acts.  The colonists called them the Intolerable Acts because it was what pushed them over the edge; they certainly didn't agree with them!  Option 1 is incorrect.  And they were in no mood to negotiate, either--Option 3 is incorrect.  They felt like the Intolerable Acts and the British occupation of Boston were the last straws--they just couldn't be ruled by the British anymore, so they were ready to fight!  Option 2 is incorrect.  They started forming armed militias, or volunteer armies.  Option 4 is correct!

Answer: formed armed militias

Which of the following is true of the governmental structure set forth in the Articles of Confederation?
love history [14]
C)Congressional state delegates were to be chose annually is true of the governmental structure set forth in the Articles of Confederation. This is exactly why they were seen as weak documents by the Federalists, because there was no bicameralism, no centralized government and no set of government branches, the Articles of Confederation (as they saw it) were merely set up to explain how to handle diplomatic relations.
