$8y\left(y-4\right)+3y\left(y+2\right)$
Apply the distributive property on the left side.
$=8y^2-32y+3y\left(y+2\right)$
Apply the distributive property on the right side.
$=8y^2-32y+3y^2+6y$
Add like terms.
