Some molecules react differently than others, and this difference in reactivity can be used to separate substances in a mixture.

Typically, this kind of separation is used to separate enantiomers of chiral compounds. Chiral compounds are compounds that have no superimposable mirror images of one another, and the enantiomers are the different versions of these compounds.

When separating enantiomers (which have identical chemical properties), you must first change them into diastereomers by reacting them with a pure enantiomer of another compound. These diastereomers will have different physical properties, making them much easier to sepa

How does cultural and family background shape food choices?
taurus [48]

Answer:

Cultural and family background effect food choices tremendously. Every culture has its own specialty in terms of food and every family has their own traditions. Food is close to peoples hearts and it binds them together.

For example Mexico is famous for spicy food and pastas in particular, Pakistanis are famous for desi food. Families have famous turkey recipes that go down through generations.

So whenever someone travels somewhere, they look for familiar flavors that bind them to their culture and family backgrounds.
