Indicate whether the C-terminus (C) or the N-terminus (N) of each of the following proteins is expected to be located in the cyt
musickatia [10]

Answer:

The correct answer is - CNN.

Explanation:

Protein modification or folding takes place in the endoplasmic reticulum. The Endoplasmic Reticulum modifies the amino acids according to their signal sequences and tail. The following case can help in indicating the C-terminus (C) or the N-terminus (N) of each of the following proteins-

A) the C-terminus would be placed in the cytosol and the N-terminus in the endoplasmic reticulum lumen after cleaving the N-terminal signal sequence.

B) The N -terminal is the positive end of the chain and as per the rule of positive inside it allows N terminal in the cytosol

( C ) Tail-anchored proteins always have their N-terminal bulk in the cytosol.

Thus, CNN would be the correct answer from the explanation given above.

brilliants [131]
Am certain that Creatine phosphate functions in the muscle by storing energy that will be transferred to ADP to resynthesize ATP. All muscle cells have a little ATP within them that they can use immediately, however, only enough to last for about 3 seconds. Therefore, all muscle cells contain a high-energy compound called creatine phosphate which is broken down to make more ATP quickly.

When scientists are doing research to determine how the environment affects a life form, it often takes many years to reach a co
ki77a [65]
When using the term 'life form' I assume you are speaking of animals, bacteria, etc. Scientists take years to find their desired conclusion because of how the environment tends to change quite frequently (Depending on where the creature lives). The earth is constantly revolving and rotating, which causes changes in the environment. These changes affect the animals behavior, eating habits, and overall chances of survival. A factor that must also be considered is that scientists have to examine these creatures in their natural habitat which can be an issue depending on where they live. For example, if I were to study the behavioral patterns of a Leopard, it would be extremely difficult to do so because the Leopards are specifically keen at camouflaging in their environment. That would make observing its behavioral patterns very frustrating and time consuming. In a way, mother nature is always against us.

(Hope this helps)
