Answer:

Graph D.

Step-by-step explanation:

When a radioactive substance loses its radioactivity, reduction in its amount represents exponential sequence and the graph represents the exponential graph.

So graph number 1 is invalid which is representing a linear graph.

Now amount of the radioactive substance is 6 milligrams in month 1. So the point on graph should be (6, 1).

After 1 month it reduces to half 3 milligram in 2nd month and the point will be (3, 2).

Similarly after 3rd and 4th month points will be (1.5, 3) and (0.75, 4).

These points have been plotted in graph number D only.

Therefore Graph D is the answer.

Answer:

D) Graph D

Step-by-step explanation:

In month 1, we know that there are 6 milligrams of the substance. This means we need to have a graph that contains the point (1, 6).

The substance loses half of its radioactivity every month. This means in month 2, there will be 3 milligrams of the substance; in month 3, there will be 1.5 milligrams of the substance; etc.

The only graph that contains all of these points is graph D.

NARA [144]

Answer:

-2

Step-by-step explanation:

So we want to find the value of:

(-6)+(4)

Simply add:

(-6)+4=-2

Thus, drop the word SUM on -2.

Further notes:

To use the number line to solve, first start by placing your point on -6.

Since we are adding 4 to -6, we move to the right. Thus, move from -6 four spaces to the right.

If you do so correctly, you will end up at -2, the same answer we acquired previously.

What is the value of x?
Olin [163]

Answer:

An x-coordinate is the x value in an ordered pair, which is just two mathematical objects, such as numbers, paired together. ... For instance, in the ordered pair (2,5), the x-coordinate would be '2. ' This value tells you how far a point is from the origin, or starting point, in the x direction on a 2-dimensional graph.
