Hello! Originally, the media was intended to be a watchdog for the citizens when the 1st Amendment came out (allowing freedom of press), and they continue to be. They go behind the scenes, and inform the public on everything to ensure the government isn't keeping any bad secrets from the citizens, and that they aren't taking too much power from the people. Also, the media helps itself by understanding they have the right to publish unrestrained media. In some countries, however, the media is controlled by the government. Hope this helps! :)
The answer is a bill of rights. Anti-federalists wanted to be ensured of their rights and so they refused to sign until their rights were guaranteed. they did not want the new government or constitution to overpower their rights and them as people.
Flavius Josephus was born as Yosef ben Matityahu. He was a Jerusalem-born scholar who was captured by the Romans but was kept alive after convincing the emperor that he was a prophet.
He gave the soon-to-be emperor a prophecy that came true earning his trust and support. Yosef ben Matityahu changed his name to a Roman style (Titus Flavius Josephus) and firmly assimilated into Roman culture advocating on their behalf. He believed that Romans were merciful and “chosen by God”. Flavius asserted that “the Jewish were being punished” and tried to convince others as such by citing God saying God had chosen him to reveal these statements.
