C(-8,2) and M(0,0) , since M is at the origin. Let x₁ and y₁ be the
coordinates of S →s(x₁ , y₁)

C(-8,2) and S(x₁ , y₁)
The coordinates of M, the midpoint of CS are M(x₂ , y₂)

a) x₂ = (-8 + x₁)/2 , but x₂ = 0, then :
0 = -4+x₁/2 and x₁ = 8

b) y₂ = (2+y₁)/2 , but y₂ = o, then:
0 = 2+ y₁/2  and y₂ = -2

Then the coordinates of  S are S(8 , -2)

Find the equation of the line with a slope of 3/4 and passes through (4-2)
Ira Lisetskai [31]

Answer:

y = 3/4x - 5

Step-by-step explanation:

An equation of a line can be written in slope-intercept form:

y = mx + b

where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept.

Let's plug in what we know.

The slope is 3/4.

y = 3/4x + b

To find b, we want to plug in a value that we know is on this line: in this case, I will use the point (4, -2). Plug in the x and y values into the x and y of the standard equation.

-2 = 3/4(4) + b

To find b, multiply the slope and the input of x(4)

-2 = 3 + b

Now, subtract 3 from both sides to isolate b.

-5 = b

Plug this into your standard equation.

y = 3/4x - 5

This is your equation. It has a slope of 3/4, and passes through (4, -2)

Hope this helps!

PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP ASAP!!!!!!!!<br> DUE BY 11:59 OMGGG
Vaselesa [24]

Answer:

A, C, F

Step-by-step explanation:

JK is proportional to PQ, so that would be 8/x. Then, JL is proportional to PR, which would be 10/5. So, the answer is: 8/x = 10/5

Then, C would also be correct as KL is proportional to QR, and JK is proportional to PQ.

Finally, F is correct as JK to KL is proportional to PQ to QR, as JK is proportional to PQ, and KL is proportional to QR.
