There are several physical properties know can use for differentiating the two minerals that have the same color and size, they are the following:

 • Hardness: This is because different mineral resources have different levels of ability to resist external pressure such as scratching.

 • Luster: different mineral reflects lights differently. Some minerals don't even exhibit luster.

 • Fracture: different minerals break differently which depicts their fracture properties.

 • Tenacity: different minerals exhibit different breaking points to an external force.

Compare and contrast "Nature" versus "Nurture".
9966 [12]

Answer:

The nature viewpoint believes much of human behavior is instinctual in origin, and carried through heredity which is based on genetics. Behavior is passed along to children from their parents. Proponents of the nature viewpoint claim that instinctual drives were responsible for practically everything, even the creation of society itself. Because it is instinctual, it is an unchanging, biologically inherited behavior pattern.. The nurture viewpoint is that a person’s behavior and personality are the result of his or her social environment and learning. Ivan Pavlov helped this viewpoint gain acceptance with the experiment teaching the dog to respond to a bell. Despite the differences, most social scientists believe that personality and social behavior result from a blending of heredity and social environmental influences.

To send Americans into space.

The Project Mercury's aim was to send Americans astronauts into space. It was created in 1958, and a few months later, it selected the seven astronauts for the program, although one of them never made it to space because of a health problem: Deke Slayton.

The first astronaut to ever reach space was the American Allan Shepard, who made a suborbital flight, that is to say, he reached space and came right back down. Subsequently, astronaut Gus Grissom also went to space, and he was followed by John Glenn (who was the first who orbited Earth), Scott Carpenter, Wally Schirra, and Gordon Cooper (who spent 34 hours circling Earth).
