The volume of the complex figure shown in the diagram is 56 m³.

Volume

Volume is the amount of space occupied by a three dimensional object.

Volume = length * breadth * width

The volume of the big cube = length * breadth * width = 7 * 3 * 4 = 84 m³

The volume of the small cube cut out = length * breadth * width = 4 * 7 * (4 - 3) = 28 m³

Volume of the complex figure = 84 m³ - 28 m³ = 56 m³

The volume of the complex figure shown in the diagram is 56 m³.

A bill to landscape your yard is $720. The Materials cost $375 and the labor is $34.50 per hour. Write and solve an equation to
Igoryamba

Answer:

Hey what'sup?

You need to dig a little in, for what it's actually meaning

Here the total is 720 right?

Which came from the materials and the labors work in hourly basis

So it's like

Cost of the material + no of hours = bill

We don't know what the no of hours are, so let's assume it as 'x'

Hence the required equation is

375+35*x=720

35*x = 720-375

35*x = 345

Therefore x=345/35 =9.8

Therefore they worked for 9.8 hours or approximately 10 hours

Peace out
