Answer:

C 139.5

Step-by-step explanation:

Frist the rectangle

12 x 9 = 108

the area of a tringle =

A = base x hight/2

A = 9 x 7/2

A = 63/2

A = 31.5

31.5 + 108

139.5

Which ordered pairs are in the solution set of the system of linear inequalities? y > x y < x + 1 (5, –2), (3, 1), (–4, 2)
steposvetlana [31]

To check which ordered pair (point) is in the solution set of the system of given linear inequalities y>x, y<x+1; we just need to plug given points into both inequalities and check if that point satisfies both inequalities or not. If any point satisfies both inequalities then that point will be in solution.

I will show you calculation for (5,-2)

plug into y>x

-2>5

which is clearly false.

plug into y<x+1

-2<5+1

or -2<6

which is also false.

hence (5,-2) is not in the solution.

Same way if you test all the given points then you will find that none of the given points are satisfying both inequalities.

Hence answer will be "No Solution from given choices".

Now, that you have the new wheel circumference, what will happen to the number of rotations if the circumference of the tires we
butalik [34]

The number of rotations for the new wheel will be 1,056 rotations

How to calculate the circumference of a wheel?

Let the initial circumference be 50 rotations (assumed)

If the number of rotations of the circumference of the tires were increased by 20%, then the new circumference will be:

Ne circumference = 1.2 * 50 = 60

number of rotations for the new wheel = 63360/60
number of rotations for the new wheel = 1,056 rotations

Hence the number of rotations for the new wheel will be 1,056 rotations
