Answer: Choice C) Same-side interior angles

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Angle 4 and angle 6 are on the same side, in this case the right hand side of the transversal line (line t). In addition, they are on the interior of the "train tracks" horizontal  lines (line a and line b). Combine this and this is why the two angles are same-side interior angles

Side note: if line a is parallel to line b, then angle 4 and angle 6 add to 180 degrees. At this point, they are considered supplementary.

ozzi

Answer:

He would save $4.75.

Step-by-step explanation:

Without the pass,

In a month, Arnold has to spend: $2.50 x 20 = $50

With the pass,

In a month, Arnold has to spend: $45.25

So, Arnold may save: $50 - $45.25 = $4.75 if he has a monthly pass.

How do you solve substitution problems in Pre Algebra
Rus_ich [418]
You multiply both of the equations until you have two of the same term the same like for example, say I have 4x and 5x. You want to multiply until both have the same number, so multiply 5x by four, then multiply 4x by five, and you will get 20x, then both of those cancel out and you will be left with the other variable, and you just solve like a normal equation.

Sum of three numbers in an as is 33 and the sum of thier cubes is 5049.find the numbers
Alex73 [517]

Sum of three numbers is 33 and  sum of their cubes is 5049 then three numbers are 7,11,15 or 15,11,7.

As given,

Let a-d, a, a +d be three numbers

Sum =33

⇒a-d + a +a +d =33

⇒ a =11

Sum of cubes= 5049

⇒ (a-d)³ + a +(a +d)³ =5049

⇒ a³ -d³ -3a²d +3ad² + a³ +a³ +d³ +3a²d +3ad² =5049

⇒3a³ + 6ad² = 5049

⇒ d=± 4

Therefore, sum of three numbers is 33 and  sum of their cubes is 5049 then three numbers are 7,11,15 or 15,11,7.
