3(x+2)-9=15-4(5x-2)

\blue\textsf{\textbf{\underline{\underline{Answer and How to Solve:-}}}}

  First use the distributive property of both sides:-

3(x+2)-9=15-4(5x-2)

3x+6-9=15-20x+8

Now add 20x on both sides:-

23x+6-9=15+8

On simplification,

23x-3=23

Add 3 to both sides:-

23x=26

Divide by 23 on both sides:-

x=26/23

<h3>Good luck.</h3>

If a printer prints 28 copies in 1 minute how many would it print in 3 minutes and 45 seconds?
Wittaler [7]

3minutes 45 seconds = 3 45/60 = 3.75 minutes

28 copies/ 1 minute = x copies/3.75 minutes

using cross products

28 * 3.75 = 1 * x

105 = x

We can print 105 copies in 3 3/4 minutes

PLISS ANSWER :C DONT ANSWER IF YDK THAnKSSS<br> *also pls look at both images :)*
Iteru [2.4K]

Answer:

First image: (6, -1)

2nd image: y = 63

Explanation:

1)

2x + y = 11

1/2x - 5y = 8

y = -2x + 11

1/2x - 5(-2x + 11) = 8

1/2x + 10x - 55 = 8

10.5x - 55 = 8

10.5x = 63

x = 6

2x + y = 11

2(6) + y = 11

12 + y = 11

y = -1

(x , y) = (6, -1)

2)

1/4(8y - 4.8) = 2 (0.9y + 5.4) + 3/5

2y - 1.2 = 1.8y + 10.8 + 0.6

0.2y - 1.2 = 11.4

0.2y = 12.6

y = 63
