Hey there!

5(1 + 3x) = -115

5(1) + 5(3x) = -115

5 + 15x = -115

15x + 5 = -115

SUBTRACT 5 to BOTH SIDES

15x + 5 - 5 = -115 - 5

SIMPLIFY!

15x = -115 - 5

15x = -120

DIVIDE 15 to BOTH SIDES

15x/15 = -120/15

SIMPLIFY IT!

x = -120/15

x = -8

Therefore, the answer should be: x = -8

Good luck on your assignment & enjoy your day!

For a person who has a mass 60 kg , calculate the weight in Newton if 1 In equals 4.45 N , then what is the person's weight in p
wel

Answer:

The answer to your question is  a) 588.6 N   b) 132.3 N

Step-by-step explanation:

Data

mass = 60 kg

weight = ?

Process

1.- Write the formula of weight

     Weight = mass x gravity

gravity = 9.81 m/s²

2.- Substitution

     Weight = 60 x 9.81

3.- Result

     Weight = 588.6 kg m/s² = 588.6 N

4.- Convert Newtons to Pounds

                     1 pound -----------  4.45 N

                     x            ----------- 588.6 N

                     x = (588.6 x 1) / 4.45

                     x = 132.3 pounds

WILL GIVE BRAINIEST AND POINTS :
crimeas [40]

Answer:

BE = FC = 3 inches, EF = 2 inches

Step-by-step explanation:

The sum of angles A and D is 180°, so the sum of their half-angles is 90°. That is, half of A plus half of B add to 90°, so the bisector from B intersects AE at a right angle. Call that point of intersection X.

Then angle ABX = angle EBX, so triangle ABX is congruent to triangle EBX. Sides AB and BE are corresponding sides of congruent triangles.

The same argument applies to sides DC and CF.

Thus we have BE = CF = 3 inches, and EF is the left-over distance, 2 inches.
