Check the picture below.

we have three sides, let's look at the two smaller sides first, 14 and 25.

check the picture atop

if we move the sides closer and ever closer to each other, to the extent that one is right on top of the other, what is the length of the red side? Well, assuming the two smaller sides are one pancaked on top of the other, the red side will be as long as 25 - 14 = 11. However, the sides can't be on top of each other, because if that's so, we have a flat-line, and thus we wouldn't have a triangle. So whatever the third side may be, it must be greater than 11.

check the picture below

Now, if we move the sides away from each other, farther and farther to the extent that one is parallel to the other, then the third side will just be as long as 14 + 25 = 39 However, we can't do that, because if that were to happen, we again will have a flat-line and not a triangle. So whatever the third side may be, it must be less than 39. So 40 is clearly a no dice.

now we can do the same to hmmm ohh any of the other sets, say 10, 19 and 26, well, 19 - 10 = 9, and 10 + 19 = 29, so the 3rd side must be greater than 9 and less than 29, however 26 is fine, because is within that range, same for the other two sets if you wish to check them.

Use the commutative property to solve for n
98,551+2,851=2,841+n
n=
dezoksy [38]
If the commutative property indicates that a+b=b+a with the problem being 98,551+2,841=2,841+n, its a pretty safe assumption that n would equal 98,551. a would be 98,551 as b would be 2,841.

3 years ago, the residents of Planet X found a black hole leading to another galaxy. Since then, they have been leaving Planet X
Llana [10]

Answer:

A total of 360 residents left Planet X in the past 3 years.

Step-by-step explanation:

120 are the residents per year and the 3 represents the years so when you multiply them it would make how many residents that left Planet X in 3 years.

A nursery owner buys 9 panes of glass to fix some damage to her greenhouse. The 9 panes cost
Nadya [2.5K]

Answer: $11.80 for another 4 panes of glass.

Step-by-step explanation: We know that 9 panes of glass cost $26.55, but we should first find how many dollars would it cost per pane of glass, or 1.

So, we can divide 26.55 by 9 to find the price per 1 pan of glass.

26.55/9 = 2.95, or $2.95 per pane of glass.

Now, we want to know how much it will cost for 4 panes of glass. Simply multiply 2.95 by 4.

2.95 x 4 = 11.8, or $11.80 for another 4 panes of glass.
