I assume you just have to simplify the expression.

\dfrac{(4\times 10^{-5}) + (2 \times 10^{-5})}{3\times10^7} = \dfrac{6\times10^{-5}}{3\times10^7} = \boxed{2\times 10^2}

What is the GCF of 48m5n and 81m2n2?
Sever21 [200]

Answer:

To find the GCF of the two terms, continuous division must be done.

What can be used to divide both terms such that there is not a remainder?

Start small, let's take 2. It could be a GCF.

Move up higher, say 3. Yes, it can be a GCF.

To see if there might be a greater common factor, divide the constants by 3.

48/3 = 16

81/3 = 27

Upon inspection and contemplation, there is no more common factor between 16 and 27. So, 3 is the GCF.

Moving on, when it comes to variables. The variable with the least exponents is easily the GCF. For the variable m, the GCF is m2 and for n, the GCF is n.

Combining the three, we have the overall GCF = 3m2n

also the third one or c

A quadrilateral has angles that measure 63, 89, and 121. What is the measure of the fourth angle?
Masja [62]
Uh.. Lemme see. Add up all the angle measures and then subtract them from 360. In this case, the answer is 87.

The data below are times (in seconds) recorded when statistics students participated in an experiment to test their ability to d
RoseWind [281]

Answer:

Mean = 58.25

Median = 57.5

Mode = 49

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given the following data set:

55, 51, 74, 61, 67, 60, 49, 49

Formula:

Mean = \displaystyle\frac{\text{Sum of all observations}}{\text{Total number of observation}}

Mean =\displaystyle\frac{466}{8} = 58.25

Sorted data:

49, 49, 51, 55, 60, 61, 67, 74

Mode is the entry with highest frequency.

49 appeared two times.

Mode = 49

Formula:

Median:\\\text{If n is odd, then}\\\\Median = \displaystyle\frac{n+1}{2}th ~term \\\\\text{If n is even, then}\\\\Median = \displaystyle\frac{\frac{n}{2}th~term + (\frac{n}{2}+1)th~term}{2}

\text{Median} = \dfrac{55+60}{2} = 57.5

All these are less than 60 seconds, which indicates that students perceive 1 minute to pass sooner than it actually has.
