Answer:

Energy transfer is a process of passing energy into a source that lacks it, like a lightbulb. Energy can be transferred through conductors, that pass through the energy to the goal (lightbulb). Conductors are available inside of the cables you use to connect the power source and the lightbulb together, they are mostly metals, since they are good conductors. When you turn on your lightbulb, with it connected to the cable which is connected to the energy source, the energy passes through the conductor into the goal and turns on your lightbulb. There are other products to prevent energy transfer, they are called insulators, they stop energy transfer and keep it stored inside of them. An example of insulator is silicon, it stores the energy instead of transmitting it and keeps it stored inside without electrifying anyone when touching it.

Why salivary amylase is active in the mouth, but becomes inactive in the stomach?
Cerrena [4.2K]
It becomes inactive in the stomach because of the stomach having a MUCH greater PH level then the mouth. It is typically 1.0-2.0 in the Stomach which is extremely acidic which causes it to change shape and therefore inactive.
