Answer:

6 1/6 feet

Lets Go deeper.

First add the whole numbers.
2+2=4
Next lets add the fractions 1/3 +1/3 = 2/3
When a fraction has the same denominator there is no need for finding the GCF
So far we have two sides done let us do the other side.
3/4+3/4=3/2

Next lets combine what we got

3x + (x-8) = 23 how do I solve it
Ostrovityanka [42]
3x + (x-8) = 23

Combine like terms first. You can combine 3x and x because they have the same variable.

4x - 8 = 23
Now add 8 to both sides.
4x = 31

Last step is to divide both sides by 4 to isolate the x.
4/4x = 31/4

x = 7.75 is the answer.

Answer:

 (3.5, 17)

Step-by-step explanation:

It would be nice to see the whole graph, so we can see where the functions cross.

Without that information, we can still eliminate unreasonable choices.

A) the quadratic at y=3.5 is well above the exponential

B) the most likely choice (3.5, 17)

C) at x=-8, the quadratic is above the exponential

D) neither graph goes anywhere near y = -8
