I see it more as a tie between both sides because nothing was won out of it from both side. But Britian would be the winner. Britian was able to keep the Americans out of its Canadian territory. Whwn MAerican realized that nothing was going to happen with this war other than more caultise they decalred peace for two centeries with Britian.
