The concept of continuity relates to historical developments and processes because historians can link the happenings in the past to recent occurrences.

 • The concept of continuity simply explains the continuation of a cycle and it shows the connection that exists between historical events.

 • Changes take place at different times which are then linked forward and backward in time. Continuity refers to the continuance of themes.

 • The concept of continuity is vital as historians are able to link what has occurred earlier to the recent things that are happening. For example, Islam had an influence on African culture and its development.

In conclusion, continuity is important to historians.

Please help asap very important
Rufina [12.5K]

Answer:

read below

Explanation:

The answers are close so, #1 would not make much sense. Coasts are exactly where land and water meet so... #2 I guess that would also make sense since water deposits sediments and it's where land meets water. #3, um, coasts won't be exactly flat if sediments from water are brought and it's where water and land meet, so it can't be #3. It won't be #4 since the coasts are not very steep.

I would say #2 because sediments from the shelf are what keep the coast complete. You could say #3 but i honestly don't know what else to say.

Does regents of the university of California v. Bakke remain relevant or has it been superseded by another case?
nikitadnepr [17]

Answer:

It has been suppressed by Grutter v. Bollinger (2003).

Explanation:

According to the University of California v. Bakke case (1978), college applicants’ race was allowed to be a factor in the admission policy, though racial quotas were ruled as impermissible.

Meanwhile, in 2003 Grutter v. Bollinger case ended with a court's decision that admission policy that favors poorly represented ethnic minority groups does not violate the Fourteenth Amendment's Equal Protection Clause, only if the policy takes other factors, such as academic excellence, into account.
