<h3>Answer:  3/76</h3>

========================================================

Explanation:

There are 5 green marbles.

There are 3+5+7+1+4 = 20 marbles total.

The fraction 5/20 = 1/4 represents the probability of picking green.

After that marble is selected, it is not put back (i.e. "no replacement").

This means we now have 20-1 = 19 marbles left.

The probability of getting red on the second selection is 3/19 because we have 3 red out of 19 leftover.

The last step is to multiply the fractions mentioned:

(1/4)*(3/19) = (1*3)/(4*19) = 3/76

John made 357$ for 17 hours of work.
yanalaym [24]

Answer: 14 hours

Step-by-step explanation: First I found the unit rate of how much money per hour. So, 357 divided by 17 = 21. So know I know that she earns 21$ per hour. Then, I did 237 divided by 17 which would be 13 remainder 16. Since he only get paid if he works for a full hour, I think the answer would be 14.

What is the following product? ^3 square root 24 times ^3 square root 45
torisob [31]

Answer:

6 \sqrt[3]{5}

Step-by-step explanation:

For the problem, \sqrt[3]{24} *\sqrt[3]{45}, use rules for simplifying cube roots. Under the operations of multiplication and division, if the roots have the same index (here it is 3) you can combine them.

\sqrt[3]{24} *\sqrt[3]{45} = \sqrt[3]{24*45}

You can multiply it out completely, however to simplify after you'll need to pull out perfect cubes. Factor 24 and 45 into any perfect cube factors which multiply to each number. If none are there, then prime factors will do. You can group factors together such as 3*3*3 which is 27 and a perfect cube.

\sqrt[3]{24*45} =\sqrt[3]{3*8*5*3*3}  = 6 \sqrt[3]{5}
