Answer:

3 m

Step-by-step explanation:

\textsf{Volume of a cone}=\sf \dfrac{1}{3}  b h \quad\textsf{(where b is the area of the circular base and h is the height)}

Given:

  • volume = 10 m³
  • Area of base = 10 m²

\implies \sf 10=\dfrac{1}{3} \cdot 10 \cdot h

\implies \sf 10=\dfrac{10}{3}h

\implies \sf 30=10h

\implies \sf h=\dfrac{30}{10}=3

Answer:

height: 3 meter

Explanation:

\sf volume : \frac{1}{3}  \ x \ base \ area \ x \  height

Here given:

  • base area: 10 m²
  • height: h
  • volume: 10 m³

Solve:

\longrightarrow \sf 10 = \frac{1}{3} \ x  \ 10 \ x  \ h

\longrightarrow \sf 10 = \frac{10}{3} \ x   \ h

\longrightarrow \sf \frac{10 \ x  \ 3}{10}  =   h

\longrightarrow \sf 3  =   h

How do you solve 6) n2+7n+15=5 by factoring?
charle [14.2K]
First, you need to set the equation equal to zero:

n^2 + 7n + 10 = 0

Now we factor. We need to find two numbers that add up to 7 and multiply to 10.

2 + 5 = 7
2 * 5 = 10

Now, we just need to write this as a polynomial:

(n + 2) (n + 5)
is our answer.

Hope this helps!

What are the explicit equation and domain for an arithmetic sequence with a first term of 5 and a second term of 2? (5 points)
tiny-mole [99]
The third choice is appropriate.
  an = 5 - 3(n - 1); all integers n ≥ 1

_____
This equation follows the form for the general term of an arithmetic sequence.
  an = a1 + d(n - 1)
where a1 is the first term (corresponding to n=1), and d is the common difference. From the problem statement, a1 = 5 and d = 2 - 5 = -3.

yes i agree because if all the integers are positive, the answer stays positive which means if you know your integer rules: a positive divide by a positive it stays positive. its the same thing for all the other operations. hope this helps.

Hello can someone please help me with this
HACTEHA [7]

Answer:

(c) is closest to the correct answer

Step-by-step explanation:

The question answers itself: "Mr. Jones's prescription calls for 1.04 tablets PER DAY, thus the amount of tablets Mr. Jones should talk daily are 1.04. Since none of the answers in the answer set have '1.04' in them, we have to use some basic logic:

The list of answers are, a) 1.25. We can rule that one out as it is not 1.04. We can also rule out b) and d) using the same logic. Thus, by process of elimination, we are left with c) 1 O. Not only is 1.0 (or just 1) the closest number to the actual amount (1.04) but it also makes the most sense, as one cannot take .04 (or 4/100ths) of a pill.
