If a typical adult loses more than twenty percent (20%) of their entire blood volume, significant alterations in vital signs will follow. So, 20% is the appropriate fill-in.

Which part of the blood transports oxygen to bodily tissues and wastes away from them?

The primary function of red blood cells, also known as erythrocytes, is to transport oxygen from the lungs to the body's tissues and carbon dioxide back to the lungs as a waste product.

Hemoglobin (Hgb) is a protein found in red blood cells that transports oxygen from our lungs to every part of our bodies.

Therefore, If a typical adult loses more than 1 Litre (approximately 2 pints) of blood, substantial changes in vital signs may ensue.

"The state has its origin in the desire of ruling elites to give permanence to social arrangements that benefit themselves." Thi
lilavasa [31]

Answer:

Conflict Theorists.

Explanation:

This statement states that a powerful group of elites created the institution of the state to maintain a status quo that exists to benefit themselves. As this is done by the use of power, both financial and political, it ignores the wishes of those who do not wield any power or influence, and the thought process behind this is stemming from an ideology which exists to fight for limited resources, this is synonymous with how Marx described the Conflict theory.

How can political parties be reformed ?
andreyandreev [35.5K]

Explanation:

Point-wise explanation is given below:

i) The anti-defection law was introduced to curb the growing trend of elected representatives who changed political parties to become ministers or to get cash rewards.

ii) The affidavit requirement was an order passed by the Supreme Court as a measure to curb the challenge of money and muscle power.

iii) The third reform measure was made by the Election Commission where for all political parties it was mandatory to hold regular elections and also file their income tax returns.

Besides these, many suggestions are often made to reform political parties:

iv) It should be made mandatory for political parties to give a minimum number of tickets, about one-third, to women candidates. Similarly, there should be a quota for women in the decision-making bodies of the party.

v) There should be state funding of elections. The government should give parties money to support their election expenses. This support could be given in kind: petrol, paper, telephone etc. Or it could be given in cash on the basis of the votes secured by the party in the last election.
