Yes they would help predict and explain patterns of change in the size of populations for other large consumers.

What is Population?

This is defined as the total number of organisms in an area over a given period of time.

The population of producers and primary consumers help predict that of larger consumers. The higher their population, the lesser the population of large consumers that live in the Serengeti ecosystem.

Compare and contrast wetlands and river streams
Alexxandr [17]

Answer:

Different: Both terms refer to water bodies flowing across the earth’s surface, the former with shallow channels and narrow banks, whereas the latter are considerably larger. Wetlands considers streams and rivers within the same wetland category as they are part of a flow continuum. I don't know how they are the same but I hoped this helped a little...sorry! Have a good day.

Which type of plant reproduces using seed cones? angiosperm bryophyte gymnosperm?
vagabundo [1.1K]
Palm trees reproduce from seed cones. Land plants are considered bryophyte because they do not have vascular tissue and are called non-vascular plants. Some do have special tissue to be able to transport water but because they don't contain lignin, it it's not considered to be a vascular tissue.

Epistasis is the interaction between genes such that one gene influences or interferes with the expression of another gene, lead
Sophie [7]

Answer:

Pigmented snails: A_B_; albino snails: A_bb, aaB_, aabb

This is an example of recessive epistasis. In recessive epistasis, two recessive alleles mask expression of an allele at a different locus. The 9:7 ratio observed in this question is a special case of epistasis called duplicative recessive epistasis, which means the presence of either aa or bb was sufficient to mask expression of the other gene. In this case, if snails had two copies of either allele a or allele b, pigment production was suppressed, resulting in albino individuals.
